This last week was Passover and the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in 1943. You can read about this event here. Last week also saw some very promising numbers (fundraising and polls) for Democratic Senate races, particularly in Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Colorado and Virginia. If these numbers hold out, five Senate pickups are very possible. Oregon, Oklahoma, Alaska and Mississippi are less spectacular, but do indicate some good fights ahead. Nebraska isn't mentioned. All

If I were to give you a tip on the most powerful tool any company has at their disposal to positively impact their brand, would you act on it? When companies talk about branding, they often turn to the standard creative elements. They conduct focus groups and prepare branding briefs before the first pixel is pushed into place on the logo. If you're really serious you have a whole identity package. But that's not branding, that's just a logo right? From there they create the marketing campaign.

Is business rethinking telecommuting? Although AT&T, Hewlett-Packard and some other big companies have recently reined in employees who work outside the office, telecommuting shows no sign of abating in the Pittsburgh region.
