Bad news for PPCS meat workers (TVNZ)

There has been bad news for meat workers in Oringi following a company announcement that the sheep and lamb processing plant will be closed. Meat processor PPCS told a meeting on Tuesday that it is closing its plant near Dannevirke.

Apple Inc. said Monday its online stores in the U.S. and U.K. are sold out of the iPhone, a sign supplies are being winnowed ahead of the launch of the device’s next generation featuring faster Internet surfing speeds.

The new online portal, ViewMyLife.com, gets featured in Rocky Mountain News and reports on it's first charity cause - the University of Denver Relay for Life, a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society. ViewMyLife has pledged $1,000 to the cause if 500 students join the group.
